LAMORA D oils are especially suited for the lubrication of heavily loaded slideways with low feed rates. LAMORA D oils have been tried and tested for the lubrication of slideways and guideways in modern machining centres, milling machines, lathes and other machine tools. As they show good compatibility with water-miscible machining fluids and cooling lubricants, LAMORA D oils can be used in applications where they may mix with aqueous media.

Screw paste for conventional and high-alloy steels (Cr-Ni steels) up to 1000 °C. Lubricating and assembly paste for connections in hot air ducts (e.g. automotive exhaust systems). For connecting elements in turbochargers and compressors. The test was performed acc. to VW-TL 52112 Bolt: DIN 931-2; Material:1.4989; Nut, material: 1.4923. The nuts were preloaded with 70 Nm and stored at 750 °C for 100 hours. After this period a low release torque was measured.

ISOFLEX TOPAS NB 5051 is used for plain and rolling bearings (e.g. in automotive engineering) and for gas meters. It is also used in small gears, where it reduces the noise produced by the gear wheels. ISOFLEX TOPAS NB 5051 is also suitable for the lubrication of tooth flanks in precision gears (e.g. bevel gears in milling machines, electromechanical actuators for valves). Its good adhesion on smooth surfaces makes it ideal for the running-in lubrication (assembly) of plastic and composite bearings.

The Klüber Summit DSL 32 … 68 oils have been especially designed for oil change intervals up to 8,000 operating hours* in oil-injected screw-type compressors. Klüber Summit DSL 32 and 46 can also be used for the lubrication of centrifugal compressors, whereas Klüber Summit DSL 68 ... 125 is particularly suitable for the lubrication reciprocating piston compressors. Klüber Summit DSL oils are used for compressors that were previously run with conventional mineral oils. These oils are neutral towards most elastomer seals used in air compressors, therefore leakage is not to be expected. Klüber Summit DSL 32 oils are mainly used in reciprocating piston compressors which do not achieve the desired maintenance intervals when using mineral oils or which show severe residue formation (carbon buildups) on valves and in the compression chamber. Klüber Summit DSL 32, 46, and 68 are biodegradable and can therefore be used in eco-sensitive applications. Klüber Summit DSL oils offer good oxidation stability due to the synthetic base oil, thus minimizing oxidation residues in the compressors and extending oil change intervals and the service life of oil filters and separators (screw-type compressors) and valves (reciprocating piston compressors).

Klüber Summit HySyn oils can be used for oil-injected screwtype compressors, reciprocating piston compressors and centrifugal compressors. Klüber Summit HySyn FG oils are intended for use in compressors of the food-processing and pharmaceutical industry requiring oil-free compressed air (without oil vapour which cannot be removed by the oil separator). Klüber Summit HySyn FG oils can also be used for the lubrication of gears in oil-free screw-type compressors. Owing to their good stability, these oils are also suitable for lowtemperature applications in industrial gears. Furthermore, Klüber Summit HySyn FG 32-46-68 oils are used in chains, particularly those operating at low temperatures, e.g. in freezing tunnels.

The emphasis of application is in the range of easy to medium cutting processes, e.g. in – drilling and boring – milling – sawing. Klübercut CO 6-102 is suitable for a number of metals, particularly for – Al and Al alloys – nonferrous metals but also for – steels – composite materials. As Klübercut CO 6-102 is used undiluted, only a very small quantity is required on the friction point, i.e. the point of contact between the tool and the workpiece. Micro-dosing constitutes a technical progress in the direction of environmental compatibility. The advantages include: – only minute oil residue remains on the swarf; the swarf can be directly transferred to the scrap cycle and be re-used; – no disposal of coolants, no separation and disposal of used emulsions; – clearly improved working environment; almost dry machines and components, less oil mist or oil vapour; – improved tool life and surface quality; the undiluted metalworking oil reduces friction and heat generation.

Depending on the service temperature, PETAMO GY 193 can be used for lifetime lubrication or relubrication. Experience has shown that lifetime lubrication is possible with temperatures below 150°C, for example in electric motors, fans, carrier and guide rollers, chain wheels, sealed or capped rolling bearings. In relubricatable rolling bearings subject to very high temperatures the grease can be used up to 180°C (e.g. in driers). PETAMO GY 193 should be selected primarily for lubrication of bearings with point contact loading, but can also be used for bearings with linear contact loading and a high share of sliding friction, e.g. cylindrical roller bearings or tapered roller bearings.

Owing to the special product formulation and the additives used, these components are kept clean, thus contributing to a smooth operation of the machines. TEX SYNTHESO M oils can be used for flat-bed and circular knitting machines and are available in different viscosity grades. When selecting the viscosity please observe the machine manufacturer's recommendations.
