Low-noise rolling bearing grease for long-term lubrication

Application Klüber Klüberquiet BQ 72-72

Klüberquiet BQ 72-72 is suitable for bearings where long service life is required in combination with especially low-noise operation. Such applications include rolling bearings in electric motors, fans, air conditioners, generators and belt tighteners in cars, electric household appliances and office equipment. The product should therefore primarily be used for the long-term or for-life lubrication of capped or sealed bearings. The low-noise characteristics of this rolling bearing grease have been confirmed in various tests performed on special noise test rigs. Tests according to the SKF-BeQuiet+ method showed that Klüberquiet BQ 72-72 can be classified as noise class GN 3. Grease service life tests were conducted on SKF-ROF and FAG-FE9 rolling bearing testers according to DIN 51 821. The results showed long service lives at high temperatures (see product data).

Klüber Summit HySyn oils can be used for oil-injected screwtype compressors, reciprocating piston compressors and centrifugal compressors. Klüber Summit HySyn FG oils are intended for use in compressors of the food-processing and pharmaceutical industry requiring oil-free compressed air (without oil vapour which cannot be removed by the oil separator). Klüber Summit HySyn FG oils can also be used for the lubrication of gears in oil-free screw-type compressors. Owing to their good stability, these oils are also suitable for lowtemperature applications in industrial gears. Klüber Summit SH oils have been designed especially for the lubrication of highly loaded, oil-injected screw-type compressors with oil change intervals up to 10,000 operating hours. Klüber Summit SH oils can also be used for compressors that were previously run with mineral oils. They are neutral towards most elastomer seals used in air compressors, therefore leakage is not to be expected. Klüber Summit SH 32 is especially suitable for centrifugal compressors and Klüber Summit SH 100 for reciprocating piston compressors. Klüber Summit SH oils offer good oxidation stability due to the synthetic base oil, thus minimizing oxidation residues in the compressors and extending oil change intervals and the service life of oil filters and separators. Special inhibitors contained in the oils keep the inside of compressors clean. Owing to the evaporation stability of the base oil, the oil vapour content in the compressed air can be considerably reduced compared to conventional mineral oils. This contributes to a reduction of oil consumption and clean compressed air; gumming of pneumatic valves in the compressed air circuit can be prevented as well due to the low oil content of the Klüber Summit SH oils.
