Rustilo DWX 30 rapidly removes water from components subsequent to electroplating processes, after machining using soluble cutting fluids, or parts that have been washed. The very thin residual film provides effective medium term protection against corrosion during intermediate storage or transportation. Rustilo DWX 30 can also be used as a lubricant for mild press working, where corrosion protection without further treatment is required. Although Rustilo DWX 30 can be applied by brushing or spraying, its dewatering action is most effective if the articles to be protected can be immersed in a dip tank.

Rustilo DWX 32 is a medium to long term protective for use in severe conditions where a high degree of protection is required. It is ideal for protection of machined components prior to storage or transportation. The product also shows good water displacing properties. Although Rustilo DWX 32 can be applied by brushing or spraying, its dewatering action is most effective if the articles to be protected can be immersed in a dip tank.

Rustilo DWX 10 specifically can be used for the treatment of surfaces which cannot be subjected to heat to accelerate drying, and also avoids the formation of water spots upon polished or plated components. Although Rustilo DWX 10 can be applied by spraying, its dewatering action is most effective if articles to be dried can be immersed in a dip tank.

Castrol Hyspin HVI 46 D also incorporates lubricity additives to give smooth slideway motion on the combined hydraulic and slideway lubrication systems of some grinding and gear cutting machine tools. Castrol HLP-D fluids contain detergency additives which maintain dirt and oil oxidation products in suspension, preventing them from settling out and forming deposits which could impair the free operation of valves, leading to erratic system operation. Machine tool manufacturer's are increasingly specifying HLP-D fluids such as Hyspin HVI 46 D, having recognised their advantages in increased system reliability.
