UNISILKON F GLK 112 is primarily used for the lubrication of rubber-metal, plastic-metal or plastic-plastic friction pairings. Possible applications are in slideways, seals (also EPDM), Bowden cables and belt tensioners. In such applications, UNISILKON F GLK 112 reduces friction, thus preventing annoying squeaking noise.

Klüberlectric BE 44-152 has been designed for the long-term lubrication of rolling bearings in which static electricity may occur, such as electric motors, paper-making machines, copying machines, film-stretching stenters, guides in conveyors and fans. Klüberlectric BE 44-152 has proven efficient for ball and roller bearings subject to a current intensity of approx. 1 Ampere. The electric conductivity of Klüberlectric BE 44-152 has been determined in tests based on DIN 62631-3-1. On the rolling bearing test rig FAG-FE9 acc. to DIN 51 821 and on FAG-FE8 acc. to DIN 51 819, the product showed very good service life and wear protection.

Application Klüber POLYLUB GLY 501

Vehicles Gearshift linkages, moving parts of the heating and ventilation system, shock absorber seals, tie rod elements, seat mechanisms, sun roof guides, pedals. POLYLUB GLY 151, 501, 801 prevent stick-slip to a large extent, particularly in applications where normally a hydrodynamic lubricating film cannot form. Pneumatic installations Pneumatic valves and cylinders with and without piston rod (for these applications, the upper service temperature should not exceed 130 °C). The POLYLUB GLY 151, 501 and 801 lubricants are also suitable for many other plastic components subject to wear caused by relative movement against metal or plastic surfaces. Owing to good damping properties, especially of POLYLUB GLY 801 and 501, noise is considerably reduced.

Owing to its good low-temperature characteristics, ISOFLEX TOPAS NCA 5051 is used in plain bearings in the automotive industry. It is also used to solve lubrication problems in control elements of the fuel feed and ignition system. ISOFLEX TOPAS NCA 5051 reliably protects small adjustment gears against wear throughout their service life. It ensures constant and low breakaway torques. The characteristics make ISOFLEX TOPAS NCA 5051 especially suitable for the lubrication of seals in pneumatic installations.

Application CASTROL BioTac MP

BioTac MPTM has been developed primarily for use on exposed marine deck applications and combines excellent physical properties that enable resistance to both mechanical shear and water spray-off with an additive system developed to protect exposed components from corrosion, oxidation and the effects of load, friction and wear. BioTac MPTM is intended for use in a wide range of applications including plain bearings, wire ropes and open gears typically found in marine mooring and cargo winches. Furthermore, ramp door bearings, pedestal bearings and cargo hatch rollers are also examples of slow/medium speed marine deck applications for which BioTac MPTM is ideally suited. The combination of thickener and base oil technology enables BioTac MPTM to have a broad operating temperature range of between -35C and +125C.

Klüberlub BE 41-1501 was developed for highly-loaded large rolling bearings running at low speeds as well as toothed gear systems such as industrial and rail traction gear couplings. Typical applications and requirements include: spherical roller bearings in roller presses, bowl mill crushers and rotary crushers in the mining and base materials industries. Rolling and plain bearings subject to high temperatures One of the well-known strengths of the BARRIERTA L 55 series is the products' suitability for the lubrication of bearings and guides operating under extreme temperatures. A low evaporation rate enables longest grease lives and hence longest relubrication intervals. Typical applications include: – conveyors (load and turn rollers) – kiln cart wheel bearings – calender bearings – fan bearings – chain bearings in film stretching stenters BARRIERTA L 55/2 is most frequently used for initial and longterm lubrication. For relubrication softer grades of NLGI class 1 or lower are recommended. Friction points under the influence of media BARRIERTA L 55 greases offer exceptionally long service lifetimes even when exposed to any of a large number of aggressive media such as concentrated acids, lyes, organic solvents or gases. In addition to their resistance to media, BARRIERTA L 55/2 and BARRIERTA L 55/3 offer also good adhesion and a sealing effect, which makes them suitable for application in – valves, fittings and installations e.g. in the chemical industry – pneumatic components – level gauges, e.g. for fuels or chemicals – seals (static, dynamic) – extraction systems Food-processing and pharmaceutical industries All BARRIERTA L 55 greases are registered as NSF-H1 and are therefore in compliance with FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570. The additional certification according to ISO 21469 supports the compliance with the hygienic requirements in your production plant. White-coloured BARRIERTA L 55 special lubricants can therefore also be used on friction points where incidental contact with food products cannot be ruled out for technical reasons, e.g. in rolling and plain bearings and guides operating under high thermal loads in – automatic baking ovens – cooking or frying lines – conveyor systems Plastic-plastic friction points BARRIERTA L 55 greases – irrespective of NLGI grade - are neutral towards the majority of plastic materials. Results of pertinent tests with fluoroelastomers can be found overleaf. We recommend testing lubricant compatibility with the materials in question prior to series application.
