Application Klüber HOTEMP 2000
HOTEMP 2000 is used for lubrication points subject to high thermal loads as are common in chains, slideways, gears, wire ropes, guideways or cams. It is not washed off and penetrates well into chain joints and friction points. HOTEMP 2000 is preferably used for temperatures up to approx. 250 °C. A durable, load-carrying lubricant film is attained even at these high temperatures.

HOTEMP PLUS is suitable for all oil-lubricated stenter chains such as – roller chains, – chains or clips with ball bearings in cases of combined lubrication of bearings, chain joints and slide ways, and – slide chains with lubrication of slide rails, chain joints and bolts in equalizing frames, single-layer stenters, tier stenters, festoon driers and steamers as well as installations.

In the woodworking industry We have already gained vast, positive experience with the application of HOTEMP SUPER N in double-belt presses for the continuous production of fibre and particle boards or laminates, especially in the following systems: – ContiRoll® of Messrs. Siempelkamp – Conti-Panel-System of Messrs. Dieffenbacher – küsters press® of Messrs. Metso/Küsters These double-belt presses operate at high pressures and very high temperatures (>200 °C). The most complex lubrication points on the moving parts in the heating and compression area are: – steel belts, carpets of calibrated rollers, heating platens – roller bar chains – contact pressure and aligning chains – steel belts, beds of roller chains, heating platens Friction points, i.e. steel belts/roller bars or chain carpets are fully exposed to the heating/compressing temperature. Due to the thermal radiation, the other chains are subject to temperatures ranging from approx. 150 to 180 °C.

Application Klüber Hotemp Super N Plus
For use in continuous belt presses manufacturing fibreboard, such as particle, MDF, HDF, OSB or LVL boards. The product has been designed especially for use in the following systems: ContiRoll® of Messrs. Siempelkamp Conti-Panel-System of Messrs. Dieffenbacher küsters press®/contipressTM of Messrs. Metso/Küsters Complex lubrication points in the heating and compression area are: – steel belts, roller rod carpets, heating platens – roller bar chains – contact-pressure and alignment chains or – steel belts, beds of special roller chains, heating platens The friction points, i.e. steel belts & roller rods, are fully exposed to heating and compression temperatures. Chains are exposed to radiant heat typically at temperatures of 160 °C to 190 °C. The other chains, pins and bending rods are lubricated with other HOTEMP SUPER products depending on machine design and operating conditions.
