The container must have leaked during shipping from Netherlands to Scotland. On arrival it had been re-packaged into multiple polythene bags and put inside an oversize cardboard box. There was a bit of spilled oil inside the inner polythene bag. I'm not yet sure how this had escaped. Also I don't know if this problem was due to bad handling by DHL or inadequate preparation for shipping by Olieonline. As far as I can tell, the oil inside the container will be as advertised. Apart from this issue, the ordering process was very easy so, on the assumption that this kind of mishap in transit is rare, I would still be positive about your service.

Thank you for your feedback. We are measuring the performance of the parcel services. We have worked with DPD in the past. Recently we have changed to DHL because we expect better handling by DHL. I am sorry to read that yours was not handled properly. To prevent this we are using custom-made boxes of the highest possible quality and use FRAGILE tape. We will discuss internally what we can do more to limit a leakage. Thanks again for your review.

This has surprised us as well. It has been discussed with DPD. We care about our packages. We order the strongest boxes (double cartons) specially made for our size pails so that they fit well. Any other suggestions are welcome. Of course, if something goes wrong we ship new pails right away (for free). They are on their way.
