Castrol Magna SW D 150 Way Oil

Application

Magna SW D 150 is specially designed for the lubrication of all guideways, especially where a demulsifying oil is required to protect the way surfaces or ensure a long emulsion life. Magna SW D 150 meets the demands of challenging applications such as grinding machines, horizontal boring mills, or CNC machining centers. Magna SW D 150 can also be used as a combined hydraulic and way oil.

Examples of applications for Castrol Magna SW D 150 way oil include:

• + Exceptional resistance to stick-slip, resulting in higher production quality

The Alpha SP 150 is recommended for the lubrication of industrial gear boxes using forced circulation or splash and oil bath lubrication. They have very good viscosity characteristics to ensure starting torques are not excessively high in cold operating conditions. The castrol Alpha SP 150 additives are compatible with the ferrous and non-ferrous metals used in industrial gear units. The Alpha SP 150 is compatible with the most common types of seal materials.

The Alphasyn T range has been formulated for use in most types of light to medium duty enclosed gear systems but should not be used for heavy or shock loaded systems. Alphasyn T is also suitable for bearings and circulatory systems operating at high temperatures. Alphasyn T is suitable for various applications where a lubricating oil is used under high temperatures, e.g. from hydraulic systems through to large, slow moving gears. All products in the Alphasyn T range have very low pour points and excellent viscosity and temperature characteristics, allowing their use in both low and high temperature applications. The Alphasyn T range is fully compatible with nitrile, silicone and fluropolymer seal materials.
