The special inhibitor package used in Castrol Radicool SF enables longer drain intervals with excellent protection against corrosion, cooling system blockage, overheating and freezing. It is especially suitable for use in engines employing cast iron, aluminium , copper or combinations of these metals used in modern engine designs. It is also compatible with all standard rubber hoses, gaskets and seals used within the cooling system. Castrol Radicool SF possesses a longer operational life by allowing extended drain intervals of 3 years plus. Longer drain intervals mean reduced cost and less possibility of harm to the environment. Castrol Radicool SF provides excellent protection against cavitation corrosion and effective water pump lubrication , reducing wear and noise. The additive technology used in Castrol Radicool SF prevents the build up of calcium deposits (scale) from use of hard water, thereby reducing possibility of radiator blocking and restricted flow of coolant. This technology also improves the fluids heat transfer properties ensuring engines run at optimum temperatures. Castrol Radicool SF is approved by a number of OEM's including Merceded Benz, Volkswagon, MAN and Ford. It is also recommended against the following vehicle manufacturer's specifications ; General Motors GM 6277M, Deutz , Cummins IS series and N14 engines, Jenbacher, Komatsu, Renault Type D, Jaguar CMR 8229 and MTU MTL 5048 Series 2000C&I. Macron 400 M-32 is free from zinc, chlorine and active sulphur.

Applications

Macron 400 M-32 is a high performance cutting oil for operations on light and medium alloyed steels, aluminium and yellow metals.

Macron 400 M-32 has multipurpose oil characteristics for cutting and hydraulic oil HLP DIN 51524-2 and gear oil CLP DIN 51517-3.

It has a good de-aeration power, does not foam and is not aggressive for the paints on machine tools.

Houghton Garia 405 M-22

Properties

GARIA 405 M-22 is based on hydro treated mineral oil with low aromatic content. A combination of polar. extreme pressure and anti-wear additives provide the oil with high load carrying properties. The oil provides good surface finish of the machined work pieces.

GARIA 405 M-22 contains active sulphur and may discolour yellow metals.

The oil is zinc and chlorine free.

Applications

GARIA 405 M-22 is the universal oil for the gear shop. It shows excellent performance for the gear grinding as well as for gear hobbing and shaping operations.

GARIA 405 M-22 is used also for the machining of steel and cast iron on automatic turning lathes.

Applications

Macron 2425 S-14 is a high performance grinding oil, used for flute grinding on high-speed steel, and with ceramic and diamond or boron nitrite grinding wheels.

Macron 2425 S-14 can also be used for grinding spiral toothed bevel gears and flat or cylindrical grinding processes, on the complete range of steels and non-ferrous metals.

Properties

Macron 205 M-8 is based on hydro treated mineral oil with low aromatic content. A combination of polar, extreme pressure and anti-wear additives provide the oil with high load carrying properties. The oil provides good surface finish of the machined work pieces.

Macron 205 M-8 is zinc and sulphur free.

Applications

Macron 205 M-8 is a universal honing, superfinishing and grinding oil.

Typical application is in the bearing industry and electronic industry for fine machining of aluminium and yellow metals.

Macron  205 M-8 has higher viscosity compared to other typical honing oils.

Garia 404 M-10 is a neat cutting oil for machining high alloyed steels, aluminum and magnesium alloys. Garia 404 M-10 is chlorine free, free of heavy metals and it has a low aromatic content. It contains a well balanced combination of polar, extreme pressure and anti-wear additives which gives the oil high load carrying properties. Due to its active sulphur content, the oil may discolor yellow metals.
