Planetelf ACD 220FY Performance, Features & Benefits
Excellent thermal stability (ASHRAE)
ASHRAE thermal stability tests confirm very good performance at high temperatures in the presence of refrigerant, water and metal components.
Neutral behaviour towards the system (protection & compatibility)
The product shows neutral behaviour towards refrigeration systems thanks to its anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties (including copper), and is compatible with varnishes, elastomers and paints. In addition, it offers high resistance to hydrolysis.
Low dilution & improved oil separation (FY high viscosity)
The higher viscosity grades within the Planetelf ACD FY range help limit refrigerant dilution in the oil, contributing to good lubrication and favourable oil separation (low “carryover”).
Good miscibility supports oil return
Miscibility within the Planetelf ACD viscosity range supports good oil return, particularly in “dry-ex” equipment.
Applications & Compatibility of Planetelf ACD 220FY
Planetelf ACD 220FY is suitable for rotary compressors (screw or centrifugal compressors) and is compatible with various HFC refrigerants such as R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A, R507 and R23.
Thanks to the combination of thermal stability, corrosion protection, material compatibility and hydrolysis resistance, Planetelf ACD 220FY is designed for reliable performance in refrigeration systems where high viscosity and good oil separation are required.
