Shell Spirax S6 CXME 10W-40 is designed to provide operators with carefree operation and maximum reliability over the life of their equipment. Spirax S6 CXME 10W-40 meets the high demands of Modern Transmissions, Differential, End Drives, Wet Brakes and hydraulic systems of heavy-duty off-highway materials (earthmoving, road construction, construction, mining, quarries ....).

Applications

Shell Spirax S6 CXME 10W-40 is recommended for use in heavy-duty off-road machines from leading manufacturers including, but not limited to, Caterpillar and Komatsu, and transmissions produced by Eaton, ZF, & nbsp;& middot; Dana, Rockwell among others:

Friction couplings and compatibility with braking and coupling materials
Highly consistent and reliable coefficient of friction combined with advanced metal and non-metallic couplings equipped in modern systems. Minimal slip, smooth and quiet operation of the brakes, and smooth operation of the transmission.

Protection against wear

The shear-stable SAE 10W-40 viscosity has a minimum viscosity index (VI) enhancers and indexes, and offers the best protection for heavily loaded parts.

Low Temperature Properties

Formulated to meet low temperature properties. It offers both superior protection of hydraulic systems during boot at low operating temperature, and at high operating temperatures.

Optimal Mechanical Performance and Long Renewal Term

Comprehensive protection of critical components, such as bronze friction discs in powershift transmissions, end drives, differentials and reducers.

Wear test on Vickers 35V25 hydraulic pump

Excellent performance in these demanding tests.

Contains inhibitors to limit oxidation and deposits and protects against corrosion of ferrous and nonferrous metals. Suppressed foam formation with improved low temperature properties and allows for better circulation and more efficient operation of the lubricated components.

A: Shell Spirax S6 CXME 10W-40 does not meet MF CMS M1145 specifications. The Shell SPIRAX S4 TXM does meet MF CMS M1145 specifications.
