Heavy-duty diesel engines for public roads. Particularly suitable for Euro 6 engine technologies, such as MB Trucks and Buses with OM 470, 471, 473, 934, 936, 936h engines, which require a FA-4 quality diesel oil. But is not suitable for use in older engines.

Shell Rimula R7 AD is characterised by "Low-SAPS", highly efficient additive technology and is designed to achieve improved fuel economy and emission benefits. The protective effect is enhanced by the use of synthetic base oil technology, which significantly reduces engine friction and thus enables longer service intervals. Suitable for the latest engine technology.

- Fuel economy. Due to its lower HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity, Shell Rimula R7 AD offers improved fuel economy*, saving fuel costs without compromising on durability and wear protection. The product meets the Daimler MB 228.61 specification for improved fuel economy. *Compared to higher viscosity oils such as SAE 15W-40, SAE 10W-30 and SAE 5W-30 high HTHS viscosity grade.
- Compatibility with exhaust after-treatment systems. Advanced low-ash formulation helps prevent fouling and poisoning of exhaust after-treatment systems, allowing engines to meet stringent exhaust emission requirements for longer periods and maintaining minimal fuel consumption.
- Maintenance savings. Shell Rimula R7 AD meets the extended oil drain requirements of the latest Euro 6 engines. This allows fleet managers to optimise maintenance schedules and intervals and reduce maintenance costs.
