Shell Helix Ultra Professional AP-L 0W-30 for gasoline and diesel engines meets the technically challenging Peugeot B71 2312 in-house specification required in the latest Peugeot vehicles. To comply with Euro 6 regulations, it is formulated specifically for use in modern diesel engines using diesel particulate filter (DPF) technology and gasoline engines with three way catalytic converters (TWC).

- Fuel efficiency. Passes the ACEA MB M111FE (CEC-L-54-T-96) fuel economy test with a minimum of 2.5% fuel efficiency improvement.
- Peugeot specific in-house tests. Passes DW10C endurance test. Passes DW10B wear test. Passes EP6CDT endurance test for GDi engine durability.
- Engine wear and durability. Passes Peugeot TU3M valve-train scuffing wear test (CECL-38-A-94)
- Engine cleanliness. Passes Peugeot TU5JP-L4 high-temperature deposits test (CEC-L-88-T-02) Passes the DV4TD medium-temperature dispersivity test (CEC-L-093-04)for viscosity increase and piston merit. Passes the ASTM Sequence VG sludge test (ASTM D6593) for engine sludge and varnish. Passes the M271 engine sludge test.
