Applications Shell Helix Ultra Professional AF 5W-20
Shell Helix Ultra Professional AF 5W-20 for gasoline engines is specially formulated for use in Ford vehicles with the "Ecoboost" engine requiring an oil with the Ford WSS-M2C948-B specification and where API SN or ACEA A1/B1 specification is prescribed. Also "backwards-compatible" for the majority of Ford gasoline engines, including those requiring an oil with specification Ford WSS M2C913-B, WSS M2C913-C or WSS M2C925-A.
Features and Benefits of Shell Helix Ultra Professional AF 5W-20 are:
- Fuel Economy. Exceeds ACEA fuel economy test MB M111FE (CEC-L-54-T-96) with up to 3% improvement in fuel efficiency.
- Engine wear and durability. Exceeds the requirements of the Ford "in-house" engine durability test Fox GTDI (CETP 03.00-L-321) for deposits in the engine and wear. Exceeds the requirements of the OM646 LA wear test, viscosity stability and oil consumption (CEC-L-99-08).
- Engine Cleanliness. Meets the DV6C (CEC L-106-16) oil dispersion at medium temperature test (for viscosity increase (thickening) and piston cleanliness). Exceeds the requirements of the ASTM Sequence VG sludge test at low temperatures (ASTM D6891). Exceeds the requirements of the VW TDI test for stuck piston rings and piston cleanliness (CEC-L-78-99).
