Molyduval Silo D 50

A synthetic special fluid for heat transfer systems intended for high temperatures and open systems.

Main applications of Molyduval Silo D 50 are:

Silicone based lubricating oil with extremely high thermal stability. Compared with other lubricants, it has a very high viscosity index, which means a relatively constant viscosity within a wide temperature range.

The product is crystal clear, extremely good water repellent and resistant to oxidation. Also available in many other viscosity grades.

+ Extended maintenance intervals

Molyduval Silo D 50 Silicone based lubricating oil with extremely high thermal stability. Compared to other lubricants, it has a very high viscosity index, which means a relatively constant viscosity within a wide temperature range.

+ system efficiency

The low viscosity Molyduval Silo D 50 enables excellent flow properties and ideal heat transfer through one large temperature range. Due to the low evaporation tendency, it offers good protection against decomposition and only very small amounts of lightly volatile substances are formed. If slight decomposition products are formed, they must be removed by degassing the system and collected in the condensate tank.

Molyduval Silo D 50 works against corrosion and has high solubility, which reduces the formation of deposits and keeps the internal surfaces of the equipment clean.
