Klüberfood NH1 C 6-150 may be applied via suitable chain lubrication system. Compatibility of the lubricant with the materials of the reservoir should be checked. To attain the highest performance in curing and lacquering applications please do not hesitate to consult your local Klüber representative. Mixing of Klüberfood NH1 C 6-150 oil with other incompatible or non-food-grade lubricants should be avoided! For object/chain temperatures up to approx. 160 °C as may result from oven temperatures of approx. 300 °C under certain operating conditions. We recommend sufficient air removal under such conditions.

Product Description Klüber Klüberfood NH1 C 6-150
Klüberfood NH1 C 6-150 is a special synthetic high-temperature oil on a polyglycol base developed for the lubrication of chains operating through can and tin-plate curing, lacquering and decorating ovens. Its formulation incorporating a special additive package enables significant friction reduction and good protection against wear and fretting corrosion particularly in the highly stressed pin / bush areas. Klüberfood NH1 C 6-150 has a good viscosity-temperature behaviour resulting in lowest oil losses and good wear protection when permanently exposed to high temperature influences. Klüberfood NH1 C 6-150 is NSF H1 registered and therefore complies with FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570. The lubricant was developed for incidental contact with products and packaging materials in the food-processing, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or animal feed industries. The use of Klüberfood NH1 C 6-150 can contribute to increase reliability of your production processes. We nevertheless recommend conducting an additional risk analysis, e.g. HACCP.

Application notes
For best wear protection during the crucial running-in phase we recommend initial lubrication of the chain with Klüberfood NH1 C 6-150 or, alternatively, new chains may be lubricated with a special high- viscosity "primary running in lubricant" based on polyglycol via hot dipping (subject to the chain OEM, further details available on request).
