Ensis DW 6055 explanation and use

Ensis DW 6055 is a rust inhibitor with a long-term protection period, which is suitable for metal surfaces that have a high risk of corrosion during storage or use.

Ensis DW 6055 is a solvent-based anti-rust agent with dewatering properties that leaves behind a temporary waxy film on the metal surfaces to be protected. Ensis DW 6055 protects metal components in an efficient manner against the damaging effects of humidity, air, detergents and other contaminants.

Houghton Ensis DW 6055 is a thixotropic product that can be applied by means of immersion (agitator should be present), ironing or spraying (airless).

Ensis DW 6055 can be easily removed with water-mixable alkaline cleaners or with a solvent.

Description and properties

After evaporation of the solvent, Ensis DW 6055 leaves a waxy rust-proof film on the surface to be preserved. Ensis DW 6055 is a high-quality, rust-resistant, solvent-based product with drainage properties that provides good coverage over the surface to be protected.

The wax-like anti-corrosion film is very effective in neutralizing fingerprints and resists cracking in the film and its loosening. Use Ensis DW 6055 where excellent coverage and excellent protection in the medium term are required.

Storage

The product should preferably be stored indoors or at least under cover in a clean and dry environment and should be protected from frost. The recommended temperature for storage is 5 - 35 & deg; C. Apply FIFO (first in, first out) principle to products in stock. The maximum recommended storage period is 60 months.
