EGX antifreeze/coolant can be used in engines made of cast iron, aluminum or combinations of both metals as well as in cooling systems made of aluminum and copper alloys. It is particularly recommended for modern engines, where aluminum protection against high temperatures is important.
EGX antifreeze/coolant is suitable for electric passenger cars and heavy applications that do not require low electrical conductivity.

Applications of EGX Antifreeze/Coolant 50/50
EGX Antifreeze/Coolant can be used in cast iron, aluminium or mixed-metal engines, as well as in cooling systems made of aluminium and copper alloys. It is primarily recommended for modern engines where high-temperature aluminium protection is important.
EGX Antifreeze/Coolant is suitable for electric passenger vehicles and heavy-duty applications where low electrical conductivity is not required.
Compatibility of EGX Antifreeze/Coolant 50/50
EGX Antifreeze/Coolant is compatible with various sealing materials, including elastomers such as EPDM, HNBR, NBR, FKM and silicone, plastics such as PP, PA, PTFE and PPS, and metals such as iron, steel, copper and aluminium.
EGX Antifreeze/Coolant is compatible with Havoline XLC Antifreeze/Coolant and Delo XLC Antifreeze/Coolant, as well as with most other ethylene glycol-based coolants. For optimum performance, the exclusive use of EGX Antifreeze/Coolant is recommended.
Instructions for use of EGX Antifreeze/Coolant 50/50
EGX Antifreeze/Coolant - Premixed should be used as purchased. Dilution is not necessary.
Product maintenance and handling of EGX Antifreeze/Coolant 50/50
EGX Antifreeze/Coolant can be stored for at least 8 years in unopened packaging without affecting the quality and performance of the product.
EGX Antifreeze/Coolant should preferably be stored at room temperature and in any case above -20 °C. Exposure to temperatures above 35 °C should be kept to a minimum.
It is strongly recommended not to expose EGX Antifreeze/Coolant in transparent packaging to direct sunlight, as this may result in discoloration over time. This process may be accelerated at high ambient temperatures.
As with other antifreeze coolants, the use of galvanised steel is not recommended for pipes and other parts of storage and mixing installations.
Protect the Environment
Avoid spilling used and unused product into the environment. Product residues and packaging/containers must be disposed of at designated collection points.
