Castrol Honilo 971 has been specially developed for honing, finishing, fine turning, fine boring, deep-hole drilling, slot milling, sawing, and even glass machining. It is also highly suitable for wire drawing operations.
This product range is designed to deliver the finest surface finishes, standing out among similar products for its superior performance characteristics. Its excellent flushing capability and easy chip removal are particularly important for high-precision operations.
Castrol Honilo 971 remains clear and transparent even during long-term use and offers exceptional resistance to oxidation and aging. Its outstanding cooling performance ensures low operating temperatures, allowing extremely tight machining tolerances to be maintained.
The carefully selected activation package provides optimal tool life, even under the most demanding machining conditions. Its superior flushing action enables operations with very fine honing stones without clogging.
While Castrol Honilo 930 is recommended for honing cast iron, Castrol Honilo 971 is ideally suited for honing tough steels in heavy-duty machining and deep-hole drilling applications.
