Rotary Vacuum Pumps. Shell Vacuum Pump Oil S3 RX 100 is designed for the lubrication of rotary and vane vacuum pumps and can be used to provide low vacuum pressure. It is suitable for the lubrication of most laboratory and industrial vacuum pumps. Standard Operating Environments. Shell Vacuum Pump Oil S3 RX 100 is suitable for applications where ambient temperatures exceed 0°C and maximum operating temperatures do not exceed 100°C. The vacuum range generally tends to decrease as the operating temperature of the pump increases. Shell Vacuum Pump Oil S3 RX 100 is suitable for vacuum pumps operating between atmospheric pressures of 1 mbar - 10-3 mbar. Shell Vacuum Pump Oil S3 RX 100 is not recommended for use when corrosive gases or chemical vapors are involved in the extraction process.
