Castrol Aircol PD 100
CASTROL Aircol PD 100
Rotary Screw Compressor Lubricant
Application CASTROL Aircol PD 100
Aircol PD grades are ashless oils recommended for the lubrication of rotors, bearings and gears in rotary compressors, especially the oil flooded screw type with lubricant drain cycles of up to 2000 hours under normal use. Normal use in screw type compressors is defined by a maximum air discharge temperature =/< 100°C as defined by ISO 6743-3:2003. Aircol PD can be used for either normal or severe duty lubrication of reciprocating and rotary drip-feed air compressors, as defined by ISO 6743. Normal duty is described as:- discharge temperatures =/< 165°C; differential pressures =/< 2.5 MPa (25 bar); discharge pressures =/< 7.0 MPa (70 bar). Severe Duty is described as:- discharge temperatures > 165°C; differential pressures > 2.5 MPa (25 bar); discharge pressures > 7.0 MPa (70 bar). Aircol PD compressor oils exhibit low carbon forming tendencies and meet the requirements of the DIN 51506 VDL classification for reciprocating compressors having air discharge temperatures up to 220°C. Selection of the required viscosity grade should be based upon the compressor manufacturers’ recommendation. However as a general guide Aircol PD 32 and 46 are suitable for oil flooded rotary compressors, whereas Aircol PD 68 and 100 would be selected for lubricating the crankcase and cylinders of reciprocating compressors. Aircol PD 150 is recommended for sliding-vane compressors, or for reciprocating units at high ambient temperatures. The Aircol PD range is fully compatible with nitrile, silicone and fluropolymer seal materials. Aircol PD is classified as follows: DIN 51506 classification - VDL; ISO 6743/3 - DAA and DAB for reciprocating air compressors, DAG for rotary air compressors. Aircol PD meets the requirements (for appropriate viscosity grade) of major compressor manufacturers such as Atlas Copco, Champion, Sullair, Compair/Broomwade, Ingersoll-Rand, Kaeser and Bauer.

Castrol Aircol SN 68
CASTROL Aircol SN 68
Synthetic Air Compressor Lubricant
Application CASTROL Aircol SN 68
Castrol Aircol SN compressor lubricants are formulated to cope with the severe operating conditions experienced in rotary screw, rotary vane and reciprocating air compressors operating at high compression ratios and high discharge temperatures. Under these conditions Aircol SN compressor oils offer reduced carbon forming tendencies and extended oil life when compared to mineral oils due to their much higher oxidation resistance. In reciprocating units, Aircol SN grades have up to eight times the service life of mineral oils.

Compressor Oil: Optimal Protection for Your Machines
Introduction
In the world of industrial machinery and processes, choosing the right lubricant is crucial. Every part of your machine or process has been designed and built with the utmost care. Therefore, your equipment deserves a lubricant that provides optimal protection and ensures trouble-free operation. OlieOnline's compressor oils for air compressors are specially developed to offer machine operators a wide range of benefits, including improved wear protection, extended oil life, and increased system efficiency.
Reliable Performance
OlieOnline's air compressor oils are the result of close collaboration with customers and machine manufacturers. OlieOnline's compressor oil range has an excellent reputation among numerous machine manufacturers, and performance has been proven in practice. This significantly reduces the risk of machine failures.
Delivering Value in Practice
Compressor oils provide measurable value in various industries. Customers switching to compressor oil report optimization of production and significant reduction in maintenance costs. This is achieved by:
- Extending the intervals between oil changes by up to 100% compared to mineral oils.
- Extending the lifespan of machines. A cement company lets its compressors run three times longer between overhauls.
- Reducing high operating temperatures caused by thickening of the original oil, which prevents the oil valves from functioning correctly.
Wear Protection
Wear can jeopardize the lifespan and efficiency of an air compressor. The compressor oil range includes oils for rotary compressors to prevent wear on blades and screws and oils for piston compressors to prevent wear on cylinders, piston rings, and valves.
Regardless of Your Technical Needs and Operating Conditions
OlieOnline offers an extensive range of compressor oils to meet your specific technical needs and operating conditions. The compressor oil range includes the latest synthetic oils that provide improved wear protection at high temperatures, thus extending the machine's lifespan.
Oil Life
Oil life is a crucial factor. The longer an oil lasts, the less fluid maintenance your machines require, keeping your compressors running without interruptions. With compressor oils from OlieOnline, you can tailor the lubricant's lifespan to your needs, ranging from mineral oils for standard applications to synthetic oils that last up to three times longer.
System Efficiency
Pressure loss in worn compressors can reduce operational efficiency and increase costs. Compressor oils are developed to enhance system efficiency by suppressing foaming, releasing trapped air, and quickly separating condensed water. Compressor oil lubrication also helps prevent wear, keeping your compressors working as designed.
What are some benefits of using compressor oils from OlieOnline for air compressors?
Some benefits include improved wear protection, extended oil life, and increased system efficiency. OlieOnline exclusively offers globally recognized compressor oil brands.
What performance improvements can be expected when switching to Synthetic Compressor Oil?
