What is the difference between Castrol Edge and Castrol Magnatec?
Castrol Edge is the highest quality 100% synthetic motoroil Castrol produces, specially developed for car engines. Modern engines are now on the brink of what is possible to design as light and fuel efficient as possible. This requires oil up to perform under high pressure. And that makes Castrol Edge: this oil withstands a pressure of up to 10.000kg per cm²! Castrol Magnatec is partly formulated with synthetic components but can not be called 100% synthetic.

You can see all viscosities which Castrol Edge motor oil is available. By viscosity, the number 5 before W is the winter single grade viscosity and the number 30 behind the W is the single grade summer viscosity.
